Small Groups

“We encourage our congregants to gather with a small group of believers on a regular basis because we believe in the power of community. It’s here that we develop deep relationships with God’s people as we hold one another accountable, encourage each other, and study God’s Word together. We see marked spiritual growth in these participants simply because life is shared in these gatherings: intentionally, honestly, and vulnerably. Try attending one of these groups already formed, or partner with us to start a new one!”

Gief recovery seminar and support group: Meets at First United Methodist Church in the Family Life Center each Monday from 10:00am-11:30am. This 13-week group will meet from November 2 - January 18, and participants are welcome to join at any point during the series.

GriefShare features nationally recognized experts on grief recovery topics. Seminar sessions include “Is This Normal?” “The Challenges of Grief,” “Grief and Your Relationships,” “Why?” and “Guilt and Anger.”

Erika’s Small Group

This group of ladies meets monthly during the school year to share what’s going well, what needs tending to, and what ways they will try to grow in the upcoming month. They spend time sharing their lives to offer support and to help one another see how God is working in each other’s lives. For more information, contact Erika Bochat.

Book Crew

Meets Tuesday's at 1:30 pm CT, usually lasts until 3 pm


Begins an Advent Study of the book “Light of the World” by Amy-Jill Levine on Dec. 1. The book can be purchased online through Amazon or Cokesbury. This small group is open to all and meets virtually on Zoom on Tuesdays at 1:30pm.

P.I.E. small group
